bathtopeは、必要に応じて取り外せる布製の浴槽“fabricbath”を備えることで、柔軟な入浴スタイルを提供するコンパクトなバスルームです。日本では毎日お風呂に浸かる習慣が大切にされており、これは日本の文化の一部でもあります。しかし、湯を多く使用する湯溜め行為は湯沸かしや保温の過程で多くのCO2を排出します。そこで私たちは、効率的なシャワーの日と特別な体験としての湯に浸かる日を明確に分けることで、文化を継承しながら環境と調和する新しい入浴習慣を提案します。“fabricbath”は、着物や折り紙にインスピレーションを受け、一枚の布から切り出し、縫製箇所を最小限に抑えた防水性能と立体的な造形を兼ね備えた浴槽を実現しました。そのため、シンプルでコンパクトなデザインとなっており、使用しない時には折りたたんで収納できます。布素材と湯の柔らかさ、弾力感、浮遊感が特別な時間を提供します。また、多様なライフスタイルに対応し、限られたスペースでも快適に使うことができます。

"bathtope" proposes a sustainable bathing practice that balances cultural continuity and environmental harmony by distinguishing between efficient shower days and special soaking days. Inspired by kimono and origami, the fabric bath is crafted from a single piece of fabric, minimizing seams to achieve both waterproof performance and a three-dimensional form. Its simple, compact design allows it to be folded and stored when not in use. The fabric’s softness, elasticity, and floating sensation provide a unique and relaxing experience.
