This non-residential sink complies with guidelines on "proper hand-washing" recommended by Japan's Ministry Health, Labor and Welfare. It is envisioned for small to medium-size businesses, stores, etc. It allows users to properly wash their hands when away from home as a necessary preventative measure against Covid-19 spread. Because the bowl prevents spillover around the edges, it is sanitary, clean-looking and easy to use. It was developed as a standard sink for the new normal.
