製品概要
近年多発する大型台風の被害に対して、毎日の洗濯物干しに役立つテラスをより安心してお使い頂けるものにする。テラスVSはそのような社会的課題に対して取り組んだ製品です。全国で設置可能な「強さ」、屋根の野縁を無くしたスッキリした「デザイン」、細やかなサイズ対応が可能な「使い易さ」の３つでテラスの新基準を提案します。
Description
Given the rising frequency of severe typhoons, people need to be able to have peace of mind when drying clothes on the terrace. The Terrace VS is our response to that social need. This product sets new standards for terraces in three areas: strength (fit for installation anywhere in Japan); sleek design (needing no vertical post to support its roof); and versatility (with a wide range of sizes).
審査委員の評価
商品がどうあって欲しいかのユーザー視点で本体構造を見直して、昨今の気象環境の変化にも対応した構造強化も同時に実現している。スタンダードな外観ではあるが居住空間の一部分を演出する製品としての在り方と、住宅建築全体の一部分としての在り方を同時に再考している。このような今後の外構部品の新しい方向性を感じさせる点を評価しました。
