Description
TOSTEM Window Appliances is a line of window-related products that combine the world's highest standards of design, function and safety. Based on the theme of the fusion of people and architecture, we are pursuing designs that harmonize with people and architecture, as well as gentle functions and safety, and have developed products that will lead living spaces to a new stage in the future.
審査委員の評価
窓まわりにおける一般パーツから電動開閉機能やIoT関連パーツなど様々な窓まわり関連製品に対し、ここまで徹底した意匠・機能・安全性の統合を図った開発は過去に例がなく、住宅空間等を設計する際の窓まわりの機能性は勿論、意匠統合性もこれまでにないほど期待できる。また、L-Fit Design／Minimum Design／Device Designから成る3つの柱を明確に定め、軸のブレない開発を行っている点も高く評価できる。実際の製品群からもその意志が明確に感じられ、この製品カテゴリーへ新たな一石を投じる意義ある開発である。
