近年、日本は集中豪雨や夏の高温化など、不安定な気候が問題となっている。 住宅用外付ブラインドは『熱・風・光・視線』の細かい調整が屋外側にて可能であり、カーテン等の室内側よりエネルギーロスが少ない特徴がある。 現在、外付ブラインドは日本では一般化していないが、日本市場においても有効な商材であるため、普及のために開発に至った。 、欧米でのブラインドと異なり 日本の住宅は窓が大型化している為、ワイド3500ｍｍまでのスパンに対応し 住宅自体は小型化されており、複数設置された際の外観を考慮し、軽快なデザインとしている。 部材や部品点数を最小限に減らし、部品の外側への露出を抑えたシンプルなディテイルとなるよう注力もしている。 また、台風が襲来する地域の特性上、一定以上の風力で自動でブライドが全開する設定や スマートホン／スマートスピーカーでの操作等、IoTも積極的に取り入れている。

To address Japan’s recent climate instability, we have developed outdoor blinds. These enable fine adjustment of heat, air flow, light and visibility, with less energy loss than curtains. Our range has a span of up to 3500mm and a light, simple design to suit the conditions of Japanese homes, such as larger windows and smaller housing units. The blinds can be closed or opened automatically at higher wind speeds in typhoon-prone areas and to detect sunrise and sunset. The blinds can be controlled via IoT with a smartphone or smart speaker. We plan to follow the launch of these blinds in Japan with subsequent releases in other Asian markets.
